Make a WhatsApp sticker from any photo
Last updated:
Turn a photo of a person, a pet or an object into a sticker. The background is removed and the image is exported in the 512 × 512 format that WhatsApp expects.
How to do it
1. Open the tool and choose your photo. The background is removed for you; if not, tap Remove background.
2. Optionally, in the Crop tab use Fit to subject so the figure fills the sticker.
3. Open Download options, choose the Sticker format and save or share the file.
4. On a phone, tap Send and choose WhatsApp. On an iPhone, open WhatsApp › Stickers › Create and pick the image. On WhatsApp Web: Stickers › Create › pick the file.
Tips
Stickers work best with one clear subject. A tight crop makes the figure easier to read at small size.
The file is a WebP image of 512 × 512 pixels, kept small for WhatsApp. On some devices WhatsApp may import it as a plain image; if so, use Stickers › Create.
Fixing the edges
In the Eraser tab, Erase removes leftover background and Restore brings back parts that were cut by mistake.
